FTC located in North Hollywood, CA has an immediate opening for an EXPERIENCED Cold Header:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced to set up and operate automatic cold header machines to form and cut off coil stock in production of precision products.
Make adjustments to machine to reduce stock size; adjustment of cold header machines multiple tools, multiple transfer fingers; use of cut-off tools and multiple dies.
Use common hand tools including box and end wrenches, micrometer, scale, bench grinder, optical comparators, indicator plug, depth and go no-go gages, cutting tools and drawings.
Knowledge of shop math and familiar with shop practices and terminology.
Demonstrate consistent awareness of machine quality output by checking parts on a frequent basis.
Work closely with Tool and Die Maker in development and production of hammers, up-sets and quills.
